Stone County Ironworks
Stone County Ironworks is built on the principle of quality lighting craftsmanship through tradition. Our goal lies in promoting and exemplifying the craft of blacksmithing as an art and as the standard of "quality" in the iron industry. The hammer, anvil and forge are the tools by which we strive to bring this excellence to the iron furniture and accessories industry. Artistic ability and traditional craftsmanship are at the heart of every design. Our lighting products will stand the test of time. This is a testament to our devotion to create each piece by hand - to make it true, strong, honest and of the earth, as these are the values we strive to live by. Furthermore, Stone County Ironworks strives to better the lives of our employees and customers both culturally and economically, to improve life for generations to come. Foundry mold pouring and wrought iron that is simply heated and bent, overruns the market today. This is not the standard by which the iron industry should be judged; it should be higher. The hand-forged traditions of the iron industry have been lost. It is our mission to not only show and teach the difference, but also to provide the best quality lighting iron product that is built from the traditions and values we hold true. |
