The company Galbraith & Paul was founded in 1986. Since then they have been creating lighting and textiles that meet the highest standards in design and craftsmanship. Begun originally as a hand papermaking studio specializing in lamps with hand made paper shades, Galbraith & Paul have evolved into a fabric design and printing studio concentrating on lighting with hand block printed shades and fabrics of silk, linen, and velvet.
The Galbraith & Paul Studio is the heart of their business. Here they make everything to order, one shade and one yard at a time. They care about the process of making as much as the product.
