This LED bench is not only for show. You and actually sit on it.
It is hard to do the LED bench and tables by Ingo Maurer justice just by describing it and showing a small photo. These magnificent pieces have to be seen to be truly appreciated. The bench has 270 white LEDs embedded between two sheets of safety glass with no visible wiring. The LEDs appear to be suspended in air and emit light through both sides of the glass giving the massive glass a weightless feel. I was fortunate enough to visit the Euroluce fair a couple a years ago, where Ingo Maurer introduced his LED tables at his private show in Milan. It was a breathtaking view! Weight: 135kg
