Product Description
The Parentesi is a true modern lighting classic that has been in production since the 70's. The fixture consist of a small ceiling mount that suspends a wire which can be trimmed to a specific size. A heavy weight floats just over the floor and keeps tension in the wire. The rubber lamp holder swivels in any direction. The Parentesi simply plugs into any wall outlet. The fixture is part of the permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art. The Parentesi was designed for Flos by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu in the late 60's.
