Latigo Lights started making copper wall sconces in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1988 and we immediately started representing this wonderful line. After 20 years and thousands of sconces later our appreciation for the craftsmanship and quality of these copper fixtures is still as strong as ever.

The copper wall sconces by Latigo Lights offer many custom choices: Choose a finish, a punch design and a shape and size from the many options shown to create the sconce that will fit your decor. With the variety of options it is just as possible to design a wall sconce for a Southwestern adobe home as for a contemporary condo. Since these sconces are hand made to order you need to allow 4-5 weeks delivery time. They are definitely worth the wait!

Please note: Due to the nature of the hand application process and irregularities in the materials it is impossible for us to guarantee a completely uniform look of the patinas even within one batch of wall sconces. These varieties are part of the charm of hand made products.

Patinas:

Verde: a greenish-teal patina that does not completely cover the copper with a solid finish, but allows copper to shimmer through.

Bright Verde: The same finish as above, but completely covering the copper.

Oro Verde: Verde mixed with golden yellow with a lot of subtle color varietions..

Rust: a softly mottled rust colored patina. For exterior use we needed something that would not keep rusting and eventually stain the walls, so this patina, which is applied to copper instead of steel was developed.

Iridescent: A very popular finish because of its rich varied, iridescent hues.

Please note: Because these sconces are hand made to order we charge a 30% restocking fee for one sconce. We do not take multiples back. So, if you are not quite sure about a size or a design or a finish and need several, order one for a not-so-prominent location, like the back door first and see if it works. We are also happy to send you sample of copper with the different patinas. We charge $25 to send five samples and will of course refund the amount when you return them after you have made your choice. Call us for any advice or help. These attractive copper wall sonces can be used indoors as well as outdoors. The outdoor sconces are provided with an exposed PAR socket that is rated for exterior use. All sconces are UL listed. Certain models (Half Cylinders and Ziggurats) can be ordered with a closed top. This is a special order. Please call us if you need this option.
