The Bubble Lamps by George Nelson are true mid-century modern classics in lighting. The airy shapes seemingly float and create a soft even light without harsh shadows. Since most models take 150W they can add quite a bit of light without irritating glare.
Made of sturdy, light-weight steel and a special translucent plastic, the Bubble Lamps are much more durable than their airy look makes you think. A choice of accessories makes it possible to turn the basic Bubble Lamps into ceiling pulley fixtures, swag lamps, table lamps or wall pin-ups.
The George Nelson Bubble Lamps have 6 feet of cord included in the assembly kit. The extra large sizes come with 9 feet of cord. We offer custom cord lengths . Please call 800-264-0057 to order custom cord lengths. The custom cord length is not supplied as an addition to the existing lamp cord, and it does not include rewiring of the fixture.
The pendant Bubble lamps include a brushed nickel ceiling plate that measures 5.25''.
All of the Bubble Lamps are UL Rated for up to 150 watt bulbs, except for the Small Saucer style which is UL Rated for 60 watts.
