Product Description
Tech Lighting MonoRail kits are the easiest way to get started building your MonoRail system. The Surface Transformer MonoRail Kit includes: One 8' long hand bendable MonoRail with end caps, two rigid standoff supports and a surface mounted transformer with a power feed.
This is all you need to install your 8' MonoRail run. The Surface Transformer mounts over an existing electrical box in the ceiling The rail drops 3.5" from ceiling in order to clear the transformer.
If you want a longer run, you can add an Extender Kit and if you want to drop the rail more than 3.5" from the ceiling you can add a Drop Kit.
You can add up to six 50 watt elements (pendants or heads) or up to eight 35 watt elements.
Just a quick FYI: Tech Lighting have components unique to their systems. It is therefore not possible to mix and match fixtures and components with systems by other manufacturers.
