The Tu-Be-Two table lamp by Ingo Maurer is the new member of the Tu-Be family with lamps featuring an array of aluminum tubes. This collection was co-designed by Ingo Maurer and Ron Arad in 2007.
Ingo Maurer now designed a new desk lamp version called Tu-Be 2. In this version the tubes are hollowed out on one end.
The Tu-Be 2 desk lamp is 22" high and is composed of aluminum tubes and steel, with an exposed red wire.
A ball joint makes it easy to adjust the lamp; Ingo Maurer stresses the point that you can turn and tilt it in any way you like.
A compact square base finishes off the Tu-Be 2. Like many of Ingo Maurer’s work, Tu-Be 2 incorporates everyday materials in a unique way.
