1. Unpack boxes, but keep packages intact to avoid losing small hardware pieces and instructions. Lay the system out on the floor as an overview of where individual items will be installed. 2. Install the power feed canopy -Determine location of junction box and canopy -Install power feed canopy at junction box 3. Bend and assemble track on the floor -On the floor, mark the desired finished shape of the T-trak run -Lay track section on floor with “white” side up -Keep hands close together, work each section of track into desired shape one foot at a time. -Cut track ends flush -Lay curved sections of track on the desired finished shape with "white" side up. -Insert track ends into connectors (do not tighten) -Install end cap on each open end of track 4. Install standoff supports -Shorten standoffs if necessary -Mark standoff with connector locations on ceiling using plumb bob; standoffs with connector are placed at each connection point between track sections. -Mark standoff without connector locations on ceiling using plumb bob; standoffs without connector are placed in the center of each 8’ track section and near each end of the run. -Install standoffs to ceiling. 5. Install track -Raising one section of track at a time, connect to the power feed and standoff with “white” side up toward ceiling -Ensure power feed ground screws are tight -Ensure connectors between track sections are secure and screws on bottom of connectors are tight 6. Add elements -Shorten fixtures if necessary -Install accessories and lamps -Place elements on system ensuring tight connection 7. Check the system -Ensure power feed ground screws are tight -Ensure connectors between track sections are secure and screws on bottom of connectors are tight -Ensure end caps are in place over open ends of track
