Valery Jean-Marie designed the Arpasia line for Artemide in 1994.  This beautifully understated torchiere almost has to be seen to be appreciated to its full extent.  The detailing and the choice and combination of materials is a joy!

The characteristically angle-cut diffuser is made of etched white handblown glass.  The diffuser supporting ring, stem and base in chromed steel.  There is a foot dimmer on the cord.
