Use the special "T" or "X" connectors to make a clean splice into a straight horizontal rail run.  These connectors are conductive, so you may power the system from any of the runs.

The "T" connector joins three pieces of rail. The connector must be supported with three rigid or adjustable standoffs (sold separately), each placed within 1' of the connector.
