The Archimoon Soft Table lamp was designed for FLOS by Philippe Starck in 1998.  This task lamp provides direct and diffused light.  It has a fully articulating silver aluminum arm with heat tempered springs that balance to provide parallel arm movement.  The shade always remains horizontal to the work plane.  The shade is plisse cloth that also has an internal opal glass diffuser.
